I’ve been teaching IB Chemistry for over nine years, working with both SL and HL students preparing for final exams and Internal Assessments. My lessons are practical and focused on understanding why reactions happen rather than memorising them. I particularly enjoy equilibrium and organic chemistry, and I always adapt sessions to the pace each student needs.

Hi! I’m a Chemistry tutor who has spent the last five years helping IB students online. If redox or energetics feels confusing, we’ll slow it down and work through plenty of examples together. I also enjoy helping students plan IAs, especially experiments that are realistic to carry out and easy to evaluate once the results come in.

My background is in chemical engineering, and alongside tutoring I have worked in industrial laboratories. I specialise in IB Chemistry and have supported students through every part of the course, from data analysis to exam technique. Many students come to me for help with calculations, which I explain using clear, step-by-step methods rather than shortcuts.

I know Chemistry can seem like a huge subject, so I like breaking it into smaller pieces that actually make sense. I’ve been tutoring IB for several years and really enjoy teaching acids and bases, bonding and spectroscopy. Lessons are relaxed, and I’m always happy to answer questions that students were too nervous to ask in class.
